To Begin...

It is the 500th day that my partner and I have been together.

To celebrate I am launching AGENT HITHERTO or 500 THINGS.

Kicking the blog off will be a list of 500 MAJOR EVENTS I WASN'T ALIVE FOR in reverse chronological order.  These events were chosen because I find them interesting, fundamental to the state of the world today or because they should not be forgotten.  I chose events that I wasn't alive for so there wouldn't be a bias towards events I remember happening.  Thus the list starts at 1986 and goes all the way back in time to approximately 2500 BC.  Clearly the list leaves many major history landmarks out - but hopefully you'll find something new in the ones that are included.
